Supply Requirements for Students
All Children must have a backpack large enough for books, folders and lunches. Supplies must be brought to class each week. Duplicate supplies may be needed at home for projects. All clothing and supplies should be labeled with your child’s name.
Pre-K: Backpack large enough for books, folders and a lunch box (not lunch bags), a change of clothing including socks & underwear ( does not need to be a uniform), a large towel (NO pillow) to place on mats for sleeping (full day only), and a smock or shirt while painting. Suggestion: Please stay away from “super heroes” lunch boxes and backpacks. Art box supplies should be available to your child at home. They DO NOT need an art box at school. Children must wear either sneakers or girls may wear Maryjane shoes –NO open toes or heels. A sturdy 2 pocket folder for taking papers to and from school.
K: Backpack, lunch box, art box. Lunch box MUST be able to fit inside backpack. NO rolling backpacks, NO keychains on backpacks, and NO metal lunch boxes. Also, make sure children are able to open and close all above items by themselves. An old T-shirt for art class to wear over uniform. A towel for rest and a folder for taking papers to and from school.
Grade 1: Backpack WITHOUT wheels large enough for books & lunch box, several erasers, (2) #2 yellow pencils, 1 folder ( for take home), lined compostion book for Reading Vocabulary, the required art box and art supplies and an old t-shirt of art class.
Grade 2: 5 double-pocket folders, 2 marbelized notebooks, eraser, #2 pencils, required art box and art supplies,a pencil holder for inside the desk (Preferably a zipper one – not a box), a highlighter, colored pencils, an art smock, 2 dry erase markers, 2 book covers and $7.00 to purchase Saint Augustine School Agenda.
Grade 3: 6 Single Subject, Wide Rule, Non-Perforated Spiral Notebooks, 5 double-pocket folders, a ruler, box of crayons, a zippered pouch (for pens, pencils, erasers), package of thin markers, colored pencils, #2 pencils, pencil sharpener, scissors, glue stick, eraser, 2 separate composition books for Reading & Writing, 2 Highlighters, 100 WHITE UNLINED 3x5 index cards, $7.00 to purchase a Saint Augustine School Agenda, and the required art box and art supplies. (ALL SUPPLIES NEED TO BE REPLACED WHEN NECESSARY)
Grade 4: 8 single subject notebooks, 6 two-pocket folders, blue or black erasable pens, 2 notebooks with loose-leaf that tears out, #2 pencils, glue stick, liquid school glue, box of sharpened colored pencils, a zippered pouch for pens, pencils, and eraser, $7.00 to purchase a Saint Augustine School Agenda, a ruler a small paperback dictionary, 1 marble composition notebook 2 highlighters, 100 WHITE UNLINED 3x5 index cards, box of Kleenex for classroom.
Grade 5: 8 Single subject notebooks, on e package of loose-leaf, 10 pocket folders, blue and black pens, #2 pencils (mechanical are great!), highlighters, one package of 4 dry erase markers, one box of colored pencils, a zippered pouch for pens and pencils, one bottle of white out, a paperback dictionary, 12” Centimeter/inch ruler, a 4 function calculator, $6.00 for a New American Bible, $7.00 for a Saint Augustine School Agenda, one box of tissue for classroom, one bottle of hand sanitizer for classroom.
